The last couple of weeks have been very challenging to us all. God has a purpose for each of us. As we discover our purpose, I believe we begin to serve Him and those around us unselfishly! Be listening in the upcoming weeks for more opportunities to serve those that live and work near us. Remember, “love God, love people”.

for some FOOTBALL?!?! I know I am! This week kicks off the 2nd Annual LifeChurch Charlotte Fantasy Football League. Last year’s winner Stefan LeFors will be joining us from Edmonton, Alberta Canada as well. We have 20 teams divided into 2 divisions. At the year’s end we will have a winner based on total points and head-to-head records. As usual there will be plenty of trades and free agents to go around. After being gone this past week, Melanie and I are excited to be back home! This Sunday (Sept. 9th) is Rally Day for our small groups and there are going to be some great one’s this term. The following Sunday (Sept. 16th) we will be celebrating our 2 year anniversary and having a dinner together afterwards. We are looking forward to seeing you all soon…Pastors Jerry & Melanie
