Today we took a group to Greensboro, NC, for a minister’s luncheon hosted by Pastor Joe and Misti Coyne of Harvest World Outreach Church (www.hwoc.org). The luncheon was for graduates of Rhema Bible Training Center in our region of North Carolina. It was great to see a few familiar faces as well as meet some new friends. The luncheon was catered by “The Master’s Chefs,” a ministry of HWOC.   Isn’t that a cool name? We enjoyed our time together.

Nickie Hionis (right) and Mom, Pam (left), came to visit Charlotte this weekend. Nickie will be graduating from Rhema Bible Training Center in May and is considering our internship program. The one in the middle is Parker, their pet monkey, who was a big hit in the neighborhood!

Nate and Michelle visited the LIFE last weekend. They will be graduating from Bible school this spring. Nate and Michelle have a great testimony of how God has brought restoration into their lives. It is in their hearts to reach the lost for Christ and to see hurting people healed and set free! We’re grateful for our new friends in ministry.

Hello everyone! I want to take a moment and remind you of all the great groups we have to offer this term. Growth Groups include “Life in the Spirit,” the “Life Lessons from King David” and ”Discovery 301-Leadership.” Interests Groups include the ever-popular “Day Trippin’ with Walt” to “The Supper Club” with exotic cuisine dinner fellowships. Our Touch groups offer “Make Some Noise” to distribute flyers in our community and “Fired Up” our cooking outreach. Eric and Tracie Hunsberger are graduates from Rhema Bible Training Center and will be moving to Charlotte this summer to be our new Children’s Pastors!  Special thanks to Ruth Wilson who will continue her internship program as Children’s Pastor through June - you’ve brought us a long way, Ruth!  We look forward to all that God will do for the kids in our church and the kids we have yet to reach!
